Summary
My name is Lacrima. I am a female self-taught digital freelance artist who is very passionate about original fantasy and sci-fi characters. Although my main art style is semi-realistic, I also have experience with anime style works. I use Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint to create my 2D illustrations. In 2016, I started to take art more seriously and switched from traditional anime art to digital semi-realism. Since then, I have been drawing with my very first (Wacom Cintiq 13) screen tablet.
In 2020, I started my career as a freelance artist on a part-time basis. That same year, I was commissioned by Rocket Panda Games to create a commercial fanart illustration for their anime fighting game „Phantom Breaker: Omnia“, which can be unlocked in a special art gallery. I have also illustrated custom graphics for streamers on their Twitch and YouTube channels, such as emotes and animated intros. As a graphic designer, I can use my knowledge to optimize prints, banners, thumbnails, videos and other media.
In the past years I was allowed to create numerous private commissions (mainly orignal characters or art gifts) and make many lovely people happy.
My strenghs are fantasy themes and humanoid characters. Especially female ones. Though I also have experience with drawings portraits of real persons. I love to play with contrasts and enjoy a mix of dark and bright colors to get a higher fantasy vibe. Character or species design is one of my passions, too and I´ve always enjoyed to create new outfits on paper or since 2016 - on tablet. I enjoy to draw everything from cute to macabre, simple to complex. Things I won´t draw are NSFW, porn, fetish, homophobic, racist or other sensible content.
